Where the Music Lives was created live during the Alternating Currents festival, capturing the energy, movement, and emotion of music as it was happening.
Painted in acrylic on a 16 × 20 inch canvas, the piece combines expressive portraiture with vibrant splashes of turquoise, pink, green, yellow, and purple. Gold foil accents catch the light throughout the composition, adding another layer of movement to the piece.
This was my first live painting experience, making the original especially meaningful within my body of work.
